Tim McArdle

Tim McArdle concentrates his practice in representing clients in Medical Malpractice, Nursing Home Abuse & Neglect, Automobile and Trucking negligence, and workplace injuries.  He has done so for the past 20 years. He has tried or settled numerous multi-million dollar cases for his clients. In recognition of this experience he has been asked to serve on the Board of Directors of the Society of Trial Lawyers, and been named an Associate of the American board of Trial Advocates.

In 1984 Mr. McArdle received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and in 1987, graduated with High Distinction from The John Marshall Law School.

He is admitted to practice Law in Illinois, Michigan; The Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois; The Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals; and the United States Supreme Court. He has also represented clients pro hoc vice in other jurisdictions.

Since 1993 he has worked primarily in representing clients with catastrophic injuries, traumatic brain injuries, or wrongful death as a result of Medical Malpractice, Automobile and Trucking Accidents, Construction and Work Place injuries, and Nursing Home Abuse and Neglect.  He has also accepted and successfully represented clients in other types of cases, including a high speed police pursuit case which resulted in a $4.8 million award to a young child who suffered permanent and disabling injuries.

Mike Frost

Michael J. Frost has been representing individuals and families in serious injury cases since 1971.  He is licensed to practice by the Illinois Supreme Court, and the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.  He has also represented clients over the years, in other jurisdictions throughout the country.  He is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell American Law Directory.

Mr. Frost concentrates his practice in representing plaintiffs in personal injury and wrongful death cases.  These cases include product liability, automobile crashworthiness, medical negligence, construction injuries, and automobile and trucking negligence.  He has secured many multi-million dollar recoveries for his clients, and their families.

As a result of his experience, and standing in the field, Mr. Frost has been called upon to serve on the Standing Committee on Judicial Evaluations.  This body was responsible for interviewing, and evaluating judicial nominees to the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, in the largest unified court system in the world.  Likewise, he has served as the chairman of the Illinois State Bar Association Civil Practice and Procedure Council.

Mr. Frost is also frequently called upon by other bar associations to serve upon committees, and act as an invited lecturer, including The Chicago Bar Association, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, (Now, The American Association for Justice), and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.  He is also a member of Trial Lawyers for Public Justice.

Mr. Frost is a principal and partner in McArdle, Frost & Brinton, since it was formed in 1995.

Dave Brinton

David H. Brinton is a member of the law firm McArdle, Frost & Brinton in Chicago, Illinois. After practicing exclusively in tort defense, he has concentrated in representing plaintiffs in nursing home litigation and medical malpractice, among other areas, since 1998. He has spoken to various groups on tort law subjects, including:

He has authored and co-authored numerous articles and chapters, most recently the supplement to "Screening a Nursing Home Case" in Nursing Home Malpractice: Investigation and Case Preparation, 2nd Edition (Lawyers and Judges Publishing, 2006). Among his other publications include:

Mr. Brinton has also acted as a Judge for Chicago Regional American Association of Justice (formerly ATLA) in March of 2006 and March of 2007. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. He received his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in 1985 and his B.A. from Lawrence University in 1982.

Ulick O'Sullivan

Ulick has been practicing with McArdle, Frost & Brinton since his bar admission in 2000. He represents those injured as a result of negligence. Ulick's practice areas include medical negligence, trucking and automobile collisions, and nursing home abuse. He has also represented our clients in various types of business and real estate litigation. He has tried cases to verdict in Cook and Kane counties and the Illinois Court of Claims; and has successfully represented our clients in mediation and arbitration. Ulick is also an arbitrator for the Cook County Mandatory Arbitration program and the State of Illinois University Civil Service Merit Board.

Ulick O'Sullivan is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the American Justice Association, the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.  In addition, Ulick is an active contributor of Pro Bono services to the Center for Disability and Elder Law, primarily helping with their bankruptcy project.

Ulick is a lifelong Chicagoan, having graduated from Loyola University in 1995 and DePaul University Law School in 2000, and currently lives in the city with his wife and children. Ulick has a deep knowledge of Irish history and culture and is adjunct professor of Irish history at St. Xavier University.
